There's a great simplicity in objects and shapes repeated. We went for dinner this week to one of my favorite restaurants - Pazzos - and while leaving strolled through the lobby of the Vintage Hotel. I took a moment (while the cab waited :)) to take a few pics of this handy design trick from their lobby. The final picture is from Anthropologie where they've repeated chandeliers all finished in white.
As with poetry, there is something pleasing in the overall composition of repeated items. Simple. Effective.
