Okay...Brown, you ask??? Brown has been the 'new black' for a while. And like black it has a wonderful, rich neutrality on which other colors look fantastic. Brown with pink?? Feels decadent like Neopolitan ice cream. Brown with blue? Modernizes blue in a way white and black cannot. Blue with green? SSSSOOOO hip. So cool.
Besides, this month as I worked on a Street of Dreams condo, we used lots of brown to give an open space with warm oak wood floors a sense of richness and depth that might have otherwise been lacking.
